The weather was amazing today, considering that we're supposed to get a snow storm starting tomorrow, and going into the weekend... Denise emailed Wayne & I to let us know that '60 mph.' winds and snow was coming and that it'd be a good idea to stock up on provisions. The snow that I was so looking forward to is on it's way! Not sure of the 'plummeting' temps we're going to get too, though... but I'll deal with that, one degree at a time. Mean while... it's time to finish a few outdoor projects while I still can.

This sun filled meadow should be all white by Friday sometime... They say that the snow never lasts too long around here... but that it comes and goes throughout the winter season. I guess I'll find out... but I can't wait to post the wintery pic's :-) Mount Baker nearby holds the record for the most snowfall in the entire country... Maybe next year I'll try snowboarding ;-)
After erecting the basic frame with new material, I scavenged around for the rest... It can be finished off better next year. For now I just wanted to keep the rain & snow off it... otherwise it would mean rolling it out every time the lights 'hiccup'. Tomorrow I'll try to put doors on the sides... mean while Denise, Wayne & I wheeled the monster into place tonight, so we're ready...

A little bonfire... it's trippy to be able to have a fire in you 'backyard' when you're out in the country. A lot of 'stuff' accumulates around here, branches, cardboard, misc. wood pieces, etc... and this is a great & easy way to get rid of it...

Maybe one of the last clear sky's for a while... I don't know... but this was a great shot. Tomorrow afternoon, after running errands, I'll go into the woods and recycle a little 'Charlie Brown' Christmas tree for my place... Maybe that'll make it feel more like Christmas. I can't believe it's the 11th already... I'm going to miss my Bailey this year...
i see your generator shack..and i see the model for my future shack..i know who to contract now.. can we make mine twice as big or maybe 3x...nice job..
